Transition in progress

In my mission to blog more often, I decided to do weekly updates about my (work) life. My friends AJ and Abbey even told me to vlog about it (giving this a go too, you’ll see later) but I don’t think I have enough confidence (and a nice camera) for that. So this will do for now.

Abbey, AJ and I met for our ~*secret project*~ at Craft Broadway aka our unofficial HQ. We’re at the final stages of our project and I can’t wait to show it to everyone. Only a few days left!

As always, we managed to insert a quick chika session in our meeting. Cause that’s how Busy Bees are. This was also when they told me to vlog my life. (Again, more on this later.)

After that I went to Forever 21 to pull out some stuff for my Young STAR shoot. Lesson: When shooting products, always get a size small. It’s easier to fit the products in the frame.

Another lesson that I learned last Monday is I’m a fast worker. Case in point: Erwin and I finished our four-layout product shoot in one hour. It would’ve been okay but we rented the studio for two hours. Reminder: Book two shoots in one day, if possible.

Because I borrowed a shit ton of clothes for my shoot, I also had to return a shit ton of clothes the day after.

We also met with some folks from H******* (no spoilers, sorry) at Toby’s Estate Pasong Tamo. It’s probably my fave branch so far. Much natural light, much wow.

After that, I went to Glorietta 5 to get more inserts for my new Midori notebook and to work for a bit. I had New Bombay for dinner as well. Lesson: Biryani is forever.

As you may know, Young STAR closes every Wednesday so I only go to the office every Wednesday. This week, we  had a special visitor (who kind of freaked me out when I first saw him at the lobby) from Krispy Kreme. Donuts (and Frankensteins) are always welcome at the office.

And oh! TKS Co. is in the editorial too!

After a two-week break, No Filter 2.0 is finally back onstage. As usual, I’m doing projections for the show. Nothing new about this.

Take what happened yesterday and positively intensify all the emotions by 10. Last Friday’s show was the best we’ve had so far –– mainly because the audience was so vibrant. Like Jericho Rosales vibrant.

Fast forward to the end of the show when things went haywire. Let’s just say it wasn’t the best night of my life.

Anyway. How was your week?
