Glad to be here

I have  a love-hate relationship with these moments. You know, it’s a thrill to jump right back into something I used to love doing, but I can’t help feeling guilty for abandoning it in the first place.

A lot has changed since I was last here. For one, I’m vegetarian. It’s definitely something I’ve been putting off for a very long time, but a certain Cheetos-colored politician inspired me (out of rage and protest) to finally do it. I’ve also cleaned up my room twice in the pursuit of living with less. I’m also reading two books that are so out of my usual YA arrangement: The Happiness Project and the Curated Closet.  Yes, I’m finally in the world of minimalism and it has been good and easy so far. The only troubling thing is the fact that not a lot of people understand it, and I have to take time and explain it to people. More often than not, they have a lot of questions that I can’t seem to answer in one go. So, as a solution, I thought I’d just document everything here. My journey to minimalism, or something like that. Here’s what you can expect in the next few days:

  • Updates! A shit ton has happened, and we have some catching up to do.
  • One of the blogs on my watch list is doing a 10×10 capsule wardrobe challenge. As in pick 10 items in your closet and wear only that for 10 days. They are making it look so easy. I want to give it try this summer considering that most of my items are sweaters so I’ll definitely have only 10 items that’ll fit summer.
  • How do you guys feel abut a What I Eat in a Day post? People often ask me where I get my food when I eat out, and I thought I’d just share some hacks to help vegetarians who are starting out.
  • I’m also redecorating my room. I can share my plans and some items I want to get for that maximum glo up.

All of this will mostly revolve around this whole minimalism journey thing that I’m trying out. Maybe it’ll help you get started or we can be each other’s support person if you’re already doing it. What else do you want to see?

    I missed reading your entries! I recently started going vegetarian, but fell back on chicken because going meat-less messed up my energy. Would love to know more about your vegetarianismㅡif you take supplements, what you eat daily, etc.

      Aww, that’s so sweet. This def gave me the boost I needed. <3 And yes, I think I need to start documenting my eating habits also because I’m a bad vegetarian in the sense that I don’t eat a lot of vegetables. Haha!
